I became aware of Raynaud’s disease at a very early age as I would watch my father's hands magically turn white on our early morning fishing trips.  Over the years it became clear that it was very uncomfortable and even impacted the level of enjoyment he could get out of some of his favorite activities. 

Fast forward decades later to my practice as a Naturopathic Doctor and licensed Acupuncturist. A patient came in one day complaining of declining cognitive function, a necessity for her work as an editor. I had been researching developments in the treatment of ADHD (attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder), and came across some intriguing studies involving the use of certain herbs to enhance cognitive function, memory, and retention. I suggested she try them and at her next visit I asked if she had seen any improvements in her cognitive function, to which she replied- “ Not really, but my Raynaud’s has completely disappeared”.  

In the years since, I have successfully treated countless patients suffering from Raynaud’s disease and other conditions that result from cold extremities and microcirculation disorders. I couldn’t be more excited about starting Meristem Medicinals and bringing Extremity Warmth to the greater population.
